Welcome to the Capital Hash Web site.
I have been running with Capital for quite a few years now and only now starting to slow down just a tad. It’s been 13 years since I was last GM of Capital Hash, unlucky for some but mostly unlucky for me. I didn’t step backwards fast enough when all the ex GM’s had a meeting to decide who was going to take control for this year.
Capital Hash is a very friendly mixed Hash who run at 6 o’clock Mondays year round. We even allow the odd friendly dog or two join us for the run.
Our run sites are all over Canberra, Queanbeyan & Jerrabomberra so you tend to run in some of the best locations we have to offer – not to mention some of the worst!!
Run lengths vary from under an hour to much longer depending how much of a Bastard the Hare wants to be. We always have a walkers pack as well, which comprise of walking wounded and slack old Hashers & Harriettes – and they mostly do a shorter trail to arrive at the drink stop before the runners.
So have a go – come along for a run or walk, and after its finished enjoy a drink before listening to the friendly repour between the Hashers during the circle. Can be quite an experience!!
